Principals Report

Dear families
As the end of term has arrived I would like to express my thanks to our school community for your ongoing support and involvement in your children’s school and to our staff for all they do to provide rich and varied learning opportunities for all at Sacred Heart. Thank you also to our students who are working so hard to achieve their goals and to be the best they can be.

I wish our students, families and staff a safe and relaxed break, with a little more sunshine. I look forward to seeing you all again on Monday, October 3rd.

COVID update

Any student who tests positive for COVID-19 must now isolate for a minimum of 5 days rather than 7 days.
If students are unwell please ensure you administer a RAT test straight away to rule out it is not COVID-19.
In the event your child tests positive please let the school office know

Due to our wet oval and inclement weather, our Athletics Carnival has been postponed. We will advise as soon as a new date has been confirmed.

Term 4 Camps Information
If you haven't already given permission for your child to attend upcoming camps on SIMON Everywhere, please do so as soon as possible.

Our calendar is nice and full with
EXCURSIONS AND CAMPS.

If your child has an upcoming activity, please take the time to read the information provided within Simon prior to providing your consent.

The Simon activity contains important information and in some cases further actions may be required by parents.

It is possible to look back at the particulars of your child's excursion/camp after providing consent by following these steps in the Simon Everywhere app.

Have you been having trouble with your Simon Everywhere app?

SIMON Everywhere App has been updated in both Apple and Google Play (Android) App Stores.

The app needs to be uninstalled and then reinstalled. Please see the instructions below.

If this process is not completed, your PAM/SIMON account will not function and you may miss important notices.

Don't forget to tick "YES" allow notifications when you reinstall the app.

Students will require their school hats in

FREE COME 'N' TRY CRICKET SESSION IN SEPTEMBER SCHOOL HOLIDAYS
Friday 23rd September from 9:30am to 10:30am at
Hargreaves Oval, Victoria Park.
Join in the fun with "Sledge", the Renegades Truck,
giveaways and heaps of cricket fun.
Girls and Boys thinking about playing a sport this summer should
consider Australia's favourite sport - Cricket.
Great value for money, 10 Sessions over the summer, uniforms supplied, giveaways at each session, healthy snacks, fitness, friends and fun.
Come 'N' Try Cricket on Friday 23rd September (9:30am-10:30am)

YARRAWONGA HEALTH
CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS

Yarrawonga Health is seeking people within the community who may have a skill or hobby to share, have 3 hours a week to share, or want to connect with their local community.

You might be new to the area or want to reconnect after the past few years of restrictions. Yarrawonga Health has a growing and vibrant volunteer program and we can assist you in gaining some experience in administration, aged care and support or just being part of a friendly and inclusive group of people.
