Principals Report

Good Afternoon Everyone

Welcome back to the new school year.

There is always great excitement with the start of a new school year. This excitement is in the faces of our students, the preparations of our staff, the stories from the summer holidays, the relationship building, beginning rituals, the surprises of the new and the reconnection with friends and familiar routines. It is a privilege to be part of and witness to this Joy – as it sets the tone for our school year

I would like to welcome all of our preps for 2024 as well as all our new families who have joined us at Sacred Heart today. We thank you for choosing to be part of our community and we look forward to taking part in many of your child(rens) milestones. I know the whole community will make you feel welcome!

We also welcome seven new staff members this year!!!!! Danielle Lombardi ( Foundation), Tim O’Dwyer (P.E), Isobel Connell (Grade 5),  Lauren Ross (Grade 5), Mel Kelly (Grade 2), Emma Sinclair (Grade 3) , Martin Dimietzel (Maintenance). We are grateful for all they bring to our school community.

This year we also welcome our new Parish priest Father Junjun Amaya.  We will celebrate Fathers official installation this Sunday at 9am.  It would be wonderful to have as many families  present to welcome Father Junjun to our wonderful community he has been blessed with.

Take Care
