Acknowledgement of Traditional Custodians

Sacred Heart acknowledges the traditional custodians
of the land on which this school is built.
We commit ourselves to working in partnership with
Aboriginal people for reconciliation and justice.

Jesus Christ, you are risen and we see you,

In the faces of the poor, In the hurting of the sick, In the anguish of the oppressed.

Jesus Christ, you are risen and we see you,

In the weakness of the vulnerable,

In the questions of the doubting,

In the fears of the dying.

Jesus Christ, you are risen and we see you,

In the celebration of the saints,

In the generosity of the faithful,

In the compassion of the caring.

Jesus Christ, you are risen and we see you,

You transform our world with love,

You ignite our stony hearts with compassion and care,

You transfigure our world with the spirit of life.

Hallelujah, Jesus Christ you are risen and we see you.

Good Afternoon Everyone

It’s great to be back at school and to be able to see lots of excited and happy students and staff ( and many parents !!!! 🙂). I hope you enjoyed the Easter break with your families and were able to take some special time together and enjoy the beautiful weather we were blessed with.

Our new building is sooooo close to completion.  Whilst our students are transitioning into the space we have some landscaping to be finished.  When we have all the finishing touches completed we will hold an open day where you are all invited to come and explore our new learning spaces.  We will keep you posted.

There will be a series of open forums this year where we, as a school community alongside our parish community, can openly discuss and provide feedback on school initiatives  so we can continue to grow and thrive together. Our first forum theme is Parent Engagement and Communication  and  will be held On Wednesday 8th May at 7pm   Our first forum theme is Parent Engagement and Communication.  More information will be sent out later in the week.

We're excited to announce that enrolment for new Foundation students in 2025 has begun!  We encourage our current families to access an enrolment pack from the school office available from May 28th.  Guided tours through the school for 2025 enrollment will take place May 28th, 29th & June 4th, 5th.  Booking are essential through the school office 57443339

If you know any new families considering Sacred Heart for their child, please share this information about our enrollment process with them.

As the UV continues to read over level 3 all students are required to wear a hat until further notice.  We would appreciate all parents applying sunscreen before students attend school and teachers will direct students to apply sunscreen before recess and lunch to reapply sunscreen.

Have a great week everyone

Take care

Arn
